Does the Zeno Acne Treatment System work? I'm 13 and i have tons of zits! I've tries tons of different face washes that claim to work, but none do! Or, they work for about a week and then i end up getting even worse breakouts! So, I've seen the Zeno Acne Treatment system at several stores, and I was wondering if I should bother spending that kind of money on this? Or, is it just like every other acne treatment?

Laura replied: "I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at. I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life. I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy. Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful. You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy. Well good luck and best wishes."

Zeno Acne System? Hey, Does anyone have Zeno and really like it? I use proactive but still have problems with acne. I was wondering is Zeno is worth the money, if I would still need to use proactive with Zeno, and if it clears smaller breakouts as well as large ones. Thankss :)

angie replied: "sweetie, proactive just sucks period. youre better off at a drug store"

Michelle replied: "Yeah I used proactiv for maybe a year and a half... it cleared my skin at first, but the progress stopped after a while. I have switched over to clean and clear, and surprisingly, that's working great. I just recently bought zeno. I don't want to say that it works or that it doesn't work because i haven't really tried it enough. However, Zeno does come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, so try it out for yourself. There is a detailed manual inside. You have to charge it for 6 hours for the initial use. after that, you turn it on, press the 'treatment' button, and place the tip of the Zeno on a pimple. Zeno doesn't replace your skin care routine, and so you do need to continue using proactiv or whatever you end up using. it's kind of a pain because you have to place the tip on one pimple at a time, each pimple for 2 and a half minutes. it might take a couple of treatments to get used to the heat/temperature of the Zeno. Anyway, give a try for yourself. good luck =]"

JEFF G replied: "ACNE is a very common inflammatory disease of the skin. I had suffered severe acne from the age of 27 and still at my adult life continued with major cysts. As a result my face has significantly acne scars. I tried this product for about a month and to my surprise it really works superior to all the other facial creams and such. Get this is you have the acne and the money. Zenmed is a great product if you have bad acne."

What is the best Acne system that works? Proactive Stinks !! Will Skin iD work or Clean and clear or Dermafina? Zeno Acne Ssystem ??/ HELP!!!

SourPatchKiid replied: "i like neutrogena 3 step acne kit. It's cheap, it lasts, and it works"

Elizabeth W replied: "HI i had Proactive and it seems to not work so well after long use. you should try Olay Products. I should have stayed with them. my gramma has been using there stuff since she was little."

Rxn Mri replied: "It depends on your skin. Skin I.D. is supposedly made to work accordingly with everyones skin type and lifestyle, that may work for you. You can ask for many opinions but of course, everyone is different. I have used Neutrogena, Clean & Clear and store brand products. They all worked for me but only for a couple of months and then stop working. The only thing that does work for my skin consistently is Proactiv. My mother and cousin had tried Proactiv but it didn't work for them. It's really a trial and error experiment with your face. You should try them all until you fin one that best suits your skin."

athlete101 replied: "My theory is, 3 strikes you're out. As in my case, I tried Proactive, several over the counter products, family doctor advice, and finally went to a dermatologist. Honestly, I wasted 3 years dealing with acne. As soon as I went to the dermatologist, my acne was noticabley better. They prescribe medications based on YOUR exact acne. Other products work by drying out the oil from your pores. Dermatologists are able to determine the best treatment for your skin. Skin iD also is meant to treat your exact acne, but a dermatologist is the way to go. I cannot even emphasize it enough. Go to the professionals. They will help! Hope to help."

WHICH ACNE SYSTEM WORKS BEST ? PRO-ACTIVE, CLEAN & CLEAR, RAPID CLEAR, SKIN ID.............OR SHOULD I JUST TRY A ZENO PRO

winterrain1010 replied: "NEUTROGENA WAVE works really well. So does an APRICOT SCRUB. Here is my routine. ------------------------------- In the morning, wash your face with an APRICOT SCRUB* Pink Dove Soap, Mild* And use NIVEA lotion after the shower* At night use Neutrogena Wave Do this for three days and see your results. Your skin will stop getting oily and dry, and you'll have the perfect balance. This may seem like a lot of products, but once you get in the routine, you'll be ok. In total, all this = under $50. *Apricot Scrub* : This will help remove black heads, white heads, and pimples. It will also remove peeling and dead skin and give your face a 'cooling' feeling, if you really rub it in. You can buy this at your local pharmacy such as WALGREEN or CVS *Dove Soap MILD/PINK* You can use either one. Wash your face in the morning in the shower with this, before the apricot scrub. You can buy this at your local pharmacy such as WALGREEN or CVS *Nivia Lotion* Make sure you get the lotion. This will prevent dry skin/oil skin. This will moisturize your skin while giving it a glow. You can get this at HEB, WALGREEN, or CVS, or RITEAID. *Neutrogena Wave* Use this at night right before you are going to bed to give your face a cooling sensation to relax while you are sleeping* Neutrogena wave helps remove makeup and bacteria, and buildup in your skin. It goes down into your skin to prevent everything that's going on your face. You can get this at HEB, Walgreen, or CVS, or RITEAID, whatever you have. *Sleep* When you sleep, to avoid puffy eyes in the morning, spray some cucumbers with eucoliptis (excuse my spelling) oil and place them on your eyes while you sleep. --------- If you want home remedies for Dry Skin, try Mashed COLD cucumbers and a teaspoon of eucoliptis oil (excuse my spelling) or any other sensitive oil. Put it on your face and sleep with it on. Wash off in the morning. or Wash your face in milk or Spread honey (not syrup) across your face, (i know it sounds weird but it works!) and wash off with milk."

Peaches replied: "I tried alot of systems before but the best one is neutrogena advance solutions its a 3 piece kit in white with and orange stripe. Its under 20 bucks and its big and man does it work well I love it my skin is soft and smooth now"

Bored replied: "Depending on your own skin type..I have developed my own system. If your skin type is like mine then this MAY work for you. My skin type is fair, I have combination skin, it is pretty much clear but on occasion I get a bad zit...but it used to be much worse before I had my system. Here's What I Do: 1. Wash My Face: I wash my face with bar soap. Only I use Hotel Bar Soap. It seems to work better on my face and i feel like I use it up faster. Then I follow with St. Ives Cleansing invigorating scrub. Its less abrasive but still helps to get rid of the nasty bacteria. I follow that with Neutrogena's newest acne system (it comes with three tubes and is supposed to be like a pro-activ but cheaper. I can't remember the name at the moment but it comes in a metallic orange box.). Then I use Clean and Clear's cleanser. It is a purple pump with a blue green solution that is cooling (again can't remember the specific name...but this stuff works wonders). 2. I sit in front of a well lighted mirror and squeeze the pus out of my pores. This prevents the pores from becoming infected, therefore reducing the amount of acne on your face. Make sure your hands are clean and that you wipe your face with a warm towel afterwards (or use the following system above) so not to reinfect your face again. 3. I apply the Neutrogena night cream that goes with the system from above. I only really need about a half a dime size in my hand...as this covers my face pretty well. The daytime cream is okay, however it tends to sting my pores. Thats it. I don't use a toner and have tried pro-activ and have found it not to work very well. Clean and Clear is a pretty good brand. For those nasty zits get a tube of 10 percent benzoal peroxide. This dries the suckers up quickly. Also, make sure that you use stuff that is non-comodogenic. It prevents your pores from becoming clogged therefore preventing further infection. Basically prevention is the key to acne. The more you prevent it the less you'll have. I hope I helped and good luck. =]"

cuteangel replied: "something even better than all this chemical stuff..trust me, all these will only aggravate ur pimples. My face is acne prone and i have some bad acne marks. Basically, this is what i do... 1) In the morning, when i get up, i wash my face with normal tap water and a little cleanser to get rid of the oil. I pat dry my skin and leave it for about ten minutes. 2) Then, i apply the mixture of rose water and sandalwood powder and apply them evenly on my face. I apply a little more on the marks and leave them for about 20-25 minutes. 3) I wash them with normal tap water and proceed to shower. After shower, I wash my face with warm water and use oatmeal powder (you can make your own by crushing oatmeal) to scrub my face. Then, i wash it with slightly warm water. 4)I pat dry my skin and after im dressed up, i apply ice cube all over my face before i apply any concealer to cover my scars. * my friends are really surprised at the progress of my skin. I discovered this method after so many trials and errors. Now, my skin glows and is healthy."
